EUGENE, OR: February 12, 1998, The Gourds & The Old 97's perform at John Henry's Bar.
2/11/98- If New Mexico was "UFO Country", will Oregon is definitely "Bigfoot Country".
11pm- rolled into Eugene, found a pizza place after 30 minutes of looking for a place to eat.
Stayed at the Pine Knot Motel, Room 4a. I slept absolutely terrible. I tossed & turned so much on the floor.
2/12/98- The Gourds soundcheck was hot, but their show rocked! A great "Lament" and "Magnolia". A lot of rockabilly types showed up, didn't know that scene even existed. we almost stayed at Johnny Voodoo's house, but eventually opted for a quiet night at the motel.
Got back to the Pine Knot at 2:30am.
Next stop: Portland, OR
