The Gourds in Berkeley

BERKELEY, CA: February 10, 1998, The Gourds at The Starry Plough. Last night's show in Berkeley was absolutely packed! People came from all four corners over to see these guys & Old 97's. Photographically speaking, such a different experience than the Great American Music Hall. I was a little spoiled after having full access there. The Starry Plough was so crowded I could barely move to get the shots I wanted. I did manage to snap off almost 2 rolls. My cousin, Ed, came out to the show. Met him for the first time only the night before, very cool guy. we hung out talking 'til 2am, then back to the warehouse and played blackjack with the band until 4am. Jimmy bought an old b/w Polaroid camera at a local pawn shop and took a slew of photos of us playing cards. Left the warehouse on February 11th at 11:40am. drive to Eugene, OR.
